Once Upon A BookCon
The time has come! In between writing sprints, I’ve been busy this week packing up boxes and mailing them off to my hotel in NYC in anticipation of BookCon. I’m traveling by train, so there’s only so much weight I can lug up and down steps. I’ll be honoring the NYC 1980s working woman by pairing my dress with comfortable sneakers. If you’re attending, please stop by table G23 and say hi. I will probably be fighting a headache, but that’s what ibuprofen is for.
I’m making good progress on my current WIP. It’s going to be a longer book than I typically write and multi POV, so I’m trying to give myself grace about the amount of time it’s taking, which is also why I haven’t put up a preorder. I don’t want to rush myself. I do, however, already have two pieces of character art that I commissioned last year, lol. Nothing like getting ahead of yourself!
I’m also in the process of putting some of my backlist into audio. More updates on that in a couple weeks!
