Spellslingers Academy of Magic

One rule kept me alive: Never use magic.
Breaking it might get me killed.

I'm Bryn Morrow, and I've spent years hiding in the human world—keeping my head down, my magic locked away, and my evil sorcerer father off my trail. It's worked perfectly.

Until I witness a family about to die and can't just stand by.

The moment I unleash my power to save them, I expect my father's hunters to drag me back to hell. Instead, a mysterious academy recruits me to a hidden magical realm I never knew existed. Spellslingers Academy promises safety, training, and a fresh start.

There's just one tiny problem: I have no idea how to control my magic.

Wands? Check. Witches? Check. Knowing my butt from a broomstick? Still working on it.

Just when I'm getting the hang of enchantments and elemental spells, I stumble into a restricted area—and trip over a dead body. Now the academy's hunters think I'm the killer, and my new life is about to end before it begins.

To clear my name, I'll need:

• A crash-course in detective skills

• Help from my snarky roommate and loyal new friends

• Assistance from Gray—a magically delicious vampire who's either my ally or my biggest distraction

• Magic I can barely control and secrets that could destroy everything

No big deal, right? Except the real killer is still out there, my father's agents are closing in, and I'm running out of time to prove my innocence.

I escaped one nightmare—I refuse to be trapped in another.
